Wildly Mine- Original Oil on Wood
28 × 46 inches | Oil on wood | Original, one of a kind
Some things become more beautiful when they're allowed to grow wild.
Wildly Mine is a celebration of becoming your own again.
A riot of loose florals spills across a warm, earthy ground—crimson and hot pink tangled with lavender, violet, gold and deep green. The flowers aren't carefully arranged or perfectly defined. They overlap. They disappear into one another. Some are only suggestions of blooms.
They are allowed to be wild.
And somehow, they're more beautiful for it.
Created as part of the Rewilding Collection, Wildly Mine is about the moment freedom begins to feel less like something you're fighting for and more like something you're finally living.
It's about cultivating a life that belongs to you.
Choosing what stays.
Growing what matters.
And discovering that you don't have to become a different person at all.
You just have to give yourself enough room to bloom.
About Wildly Mine
This painting began with music, movement and the idea of buying your own flowers—but somewhere along the way, it became about something bigger.
I've spent a lot of my life trying to make things beautiful.
Homes. Businesses. Gardens. Relationships. Art.
But there's a difference between creating something beautiful because you're trying to hold everything together and creating beauty simply because it brings you joy.
Wildly Mine came from that second place.
There was no perfect bouquet planned here. I let the flowers emerge, overlap and become messy. I let colors collide. I left brushstrokes visible. I stopped trying to make everything behave.
Maybe that's rewilding, too.
Not burning your whole life down.
Not becoming someone else.
Just realizing that the life you're growing gets to be wildly, wonderfully yours.
